Chitrang joined the firm in May 2013 as a part time Accounts Assistant during a summer placement. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent, he took the opportunity to join Burleys as a Trainee Accountant.

Since joining the firm and successfully completing 13 exams, Chitrang is now a ACCA Affiliate on his way to becoming a member. During his time, he has developed extensive knowledge of Small Business Accounts and Tax Compliance for individuals, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. With the assistance of junior staff members, Chitrang also overseas bookkeeping for VAT and payroll. He particularly enjoys working with a varied client base and over the years has gained the confidence of clients enabling him to be the first point of contact. Chitrang is also skilled in the use of many accounting & payroll software packages which enables him to provide software support for clients.

Away from the office Chitrang likes to spend time with his family and his better half. He can sometimes be found at the local on a Friday night after a busy accounting week! A keen sportsman, Chitrang follows Manchester United FC, played cricket for 3 years at a local club and dedicates time working out at the gym. He is currently into running and has a personal record of 7.5km in 1 hour.
